What This Privacy Policy Covers
Homefront is committed to protecting the privacy of the both the clients that use our products and services (real estate agents) and their vendors (buyers and sellers). Our Privacy Policy covers how Homefront treats personal information that is collected through, but not restricted to our website www.homefront.net.au. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number that is not otherwise publicly available.

This policy does not apply to the practices of businesses that Homefront does not own or control.

Homefront takes the Privacy Act very seriously and uphold the privacy of our clients and their vendors with strict adherence to our Privacy Policy, to keep personal information safe.

 

Information Collection and Use
Homefront collects personal information when you become a member with Homefront, when you use Homefront products and services, when you enter special promotions, when you fill out any survey forms, when you subscribe to our Hot Buys and when you become a VIP Client.
 
In any of these incidences, we may ask for information such as your name, email address, office address, office phone number, mobile phone number, your vendor’s name, address and phone number.
 
This information is used for private use only within the Homefront system, in order to:
1. carry out work ordered
2. upgrade our products and services,
3. developing and identifying products and services that may interest you
4. keep you informed of our latest promotions and discounts (which you can cancel at any time)
 
Homefront will need to pass on personal information in the event of an order being placed with the requirement to be fulfilled. This will only be given to people / businesses required to carry out the work requested, that form part of the Homefront network.
Website Design is only available with our Website Hosting Packages.
Personal Third Party Information
If at any time you supply us with personal information about a third party (eg. Vendors) you should ensure that you are authorised to do so and you must agree to inform that person who we are, that we will use their information in order to fulfil any job requirements.
Survey Forms
Homefront is committed to continual improvement and any information collected through our survey forms is only used to supply you with better products and services to help you meet your overall goals and improve your performance. The information is based on marketing procedures, products and services to obtain statistical data to record and quantify, to translate into a better ways in which to identify and service your needs. The information will be used to quantify how the general real estate population currently perform marketing activities. Under no circumstances will any personal information be passed onto any other business or individual. The information collected is for in-house purposes only. The personal information in this instance will provide a means in which to contact the winner. The personal information collected will be used to provide updates on our latest promotions and discounts. At any time you can cancel this service. The information collected from the survey will be converted into general statistical data with no link to any individuals or offices. Homefront will use the data collected to improve any in-house systems, products or services. Statistical data in the form of percentages only, may be used in order to provide factual, qualified information.
 
Confidentiality and Security
Homefront limits access to personal information about you to employees / contractors who need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you in order to do their jobs. Any personal information given is password controlled, to ensure maximum protection.
 
Your Access to Personal Information
If at any time you wish to know your personal information we have collated, and/or wish to make any corrections, you are welcome to do so by telephoning us. Homefront will make any corrections promptly to ensure all details are current. Homefront will ask you to verify some of the information in question to ensure the details are disclosed to the correct person.
